Eurowerkstatt Jena has broad experience in organising and leading international projects. They welcome participants and volunteers from European countries as a coordinating organisation or hosting project. Eurowerkstatt has a big network of hosting projects in Jena and coordinates the application process, the prearrangement and the mentoring of the volunteers. We provide a complete program for the volunteers that includes the accommodation, intercultural seminars and trainings, linguistic courses, different workshops and a lot of social activities.
After the 15th of April, they will transfer your applications to our hosting projects. Their colleagues in these organisations will have a close look at your applications and will contact you to have a skype call. In the end, they will be the ones to decide who will become the new volunteer in their hosting project, not Eurowerkstatt.
How the volunteers live during their voluntary service in Jena
You will stay in a shared flat with one or two other volunteers as your roommates. Everybody will have their own room but share the bathroom and kitchen together. The flats are furnished and there is everything you need for your daily life, such as dishes or a washing machine.
They have six flats in two houses which are next to each other and near to the city center of Jena. There is also a common room for events or meetings and a garden, which you can use for yourselves, for example, to have a barbecue or to chill in the sun.
