The Southwest Art Magazine calls all the hardworking and creative artists from all over the world to enter in Artistic Excellence Competition 2020. This competition is the platform for hardworking creative artists to get the spotlight in Southwest Art Magazine and win cash prizes of up to $2000. Southwest Art accepts the entries of all mediums, styles, and subjects.
In addition to that, the 10 Honorable Mentions will be eligible for a one-year subscription to Artists Network TV worth of $199.99. Furthermore, the 13 winning artists will be published in the December/January issue of Southwest Art and on its website. Also, Southwest Art will include the most beautiful and lively art on the cover page of its Magazine.
All the interested artists must submit their original artwork. The artwork or composition from the published material or other artists’ work are not original and therefore are not eligible to enter the competition. Similarly, the drawing and paintings from another person’s photograph (even if it’s copyright-free) are also not eligible. Furthermore, employees or associates of Peak Media Properties LLC and their immediate families cannot participate in the Artistic Excellence Competition 2020. Moreover, Southwest Art reserves the right to reject work deemed unsuitable for publication or that does not meet the above criteria.
All the candidates must submit their entry online. Candidates can submit more than one entry as there is no limit to the number of entries. Similarly, there are no limitations to the mediums or dimensions of the art. Participants must save all images in jpg format and the files must be 5MB or smaller. If the participants are selected as a winner then the Southwest Art may contact a candidate about sending a hi-resolution print-quality replacement.
The entry fee for early-bird entries (on or before June 14) is $30 per image. The entries exceeding the early-bird deadline must have to pay $35 per page.
The decision about the winners will be out by September 30, 2020.
