Distance Learning Courses:

With 24/7, multi-device, multi-media learning materials and a leading edge ‘virtual classroom’ study portal, you can study from any place in the world at any time, as long as there is access to the internet.

Fees and Funding

Pay in full

There is typically a 10% discount off the total price if the amount is paid in full upfront.

Instalments and pay-as-you-go

Students can pay for their studies by simply making the next payment when they are ready to start the next stage of the course, with no obligations of monthly payments. Payment can be made in bite size chunks if they can’t pay upfront or perhaps aren’t eligible for a student loan.

UK/EU student funding

Undergraduate student loans for UK & EU students

Student Finance England pays the fees which can be paid back in small monthly instalments once the student’s earning rises above GBP 21,000 per annum.

Postgraduate student loans for UK & EU students

This option provides up to GBP 10,000 for taught and research master’s courses, including MBAs.

Second degree funding available for UK residents

If students have previously completed an undergraduate degree, they may be eligible for a student loan for a second degree by online distance learning.

Admissions

Arden makes it possible for students to not leave their country or their family and still get a UK degree.

If enrolled on a distance learning course, there is no need to travel to the UK or apply for a study visa, thereby getting all the advantages of a UK degree without the cost of being in the UK. If an assessment is needed as a part of the course, it can be arranged at a local recognised centre.

Entry Requirements

There are instances where students may be required to have a qualification to enrol onto an online programme. Arden University believes that everyone should have access to the education they deserve, hence, the entry requirements are made as flexible as possible.

To be eligible for the undergraduate courses students will need either:

• Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; or
• Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.
• For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

To be eligible for the postgraduate courses students must normally have either:

• A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.
• For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

For those who are currently lacking in formal qualifications, many of the University’s courses take relevant work experience into account when they apply to study with the University.

Course Exemptions

If students have already started their studies with an internationally recognised institution, they might be able to transfer credits or receive exemptions for their module.

The Application Process

Once the online application form is submitted, one of the Admissions Advisors will get in touch with the student via email to answer queries. Once the application is complete and the supporting documents are provided, the university processes the application usually in 5 to 10 days.
