The University of Queensland Australia is looking for an academically distinguished international or Australian student to join a research Ph.D. program in Management of marine plastics. This project is part of a series of projects that seek to build a systematic framework to meet the challenges of increasing plastic leaks into the environment with the explosive growth in its production in the world. The project will identify key issues to be addressed either by designing new materials, recycling waste or developing efficient and effective recycling systems to recapture and reuse the bulk of petroleum-derived plastics.
Engineering and Computing.
Three years with the possibility of two 6-month extensions in approved circumstances.
