Shell Group is offering an Internship Program for ambitious students, to utilize their creative ideas in tackling the energy challenges, such as growing demand for energy. 

Required Skills and attributes:

There will be specific skill requirements for the chosen internship area. But whatever intern's role is, there are certain qualities all interns must have:

  1. Intern must be an actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, who will complete at least one more semester of education following their internship.
  2. Enjoying being challenged, so that rather than being daunted or overwhelmed if a task seems impossible, intern welcomes the opportunity to be innovative. 
  3. Absorbing information fast, analyzing problems, making objective decisions and coming up with original ideas. 
  4. Having the drive, confidence, and resilience to get things done, the flexibility to work well as being part of a team and the credibility to influence others.
  5. Being lawfully authorized to work in the Netherlands .

Internship Benefits:

  6. As inters will be assessed entirely on how well they perform during their internship, they could even secure an offer to join Shell full-time when you graduate – without the need for a further interview. 

Note that: Shell matches applicants into a particular role based on their skills, so they will not be required to apply for a specific internship position.
