The University of Sussex presents the chancellor’s international scholarship 2020 in the UK. There are 25 scholarships available to international postgraduate applicants who can demonstrate their academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship:

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be classified as overseas for fee purposes.
  • Have accepted a place on a full-time eligible Masters, commencing at the University of Sussex in September 2020.
  • Have excellent grades, UK first class or equivalent.
  • Have clear and specific goals with defined links to your course.
  • You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study the following courses:
  1. Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination).
  2. Corruption, law and governance LLM (delivered in Qatar).
  3. Development studies MA.
  4. Early years in education MA.
  5. Globalization, business, and development MA.
  6. Governance, development and public policy MA.
  7. Power, participation and social change MA.
  8. Poverty and development MA.
  9. Masters degrees in social work if receiving an NHS bursary.
  10. PGCE courses.
  11. Schools direct teaching courses.
  12. Any masters funded by the research councils e.g. those receiving ESRC 1+3 funding are not eligible.
  13. Any masters at Brighton and Sussex medical school.

Funding:

You will have a 50% reduction in your overseas tuition fee.
