The University of Queensland in Australia is offering scholarships to international students wishing to study a bachelor's degree in any major of the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Information Technology.

Study Area:

Architecture and Planning.
Engineering and Computing.

Scholarship Value:

The total value of this award is $10,000

Admission Criteria:

The award is for international students applying to study at UQ on a full-time basis, including international students who have completed Year 12 overseas or in Australia.
International students currently receiving fee sponsorship are ineligible for this scholarship.
Only students with an unconditional offer are eligible to be considered.

Selection Criteria:

For the selection, process applications will be assessed by the Faculty based on:

Academic merit and suitability to the chosen program.
A Personal Statement that includes the reason why the applicant is seeking a scholarship and wanting to study their chosen program. It is also recommended applicants include information regarding any relevant extra-curricular activities, which may support their scholarship application.

Obligations of Students:

Students are expected to fulfill all requirements associated with their student visas.
Students shall diligently and to the best of their ability to apply themselves to the successful completion of their degree.
Students are required to conform to University regulations. Notification in writing to the Faculty is required if the student:
- wishes to defer, transfer, or withdraw from the approved program.
- wishes to apply for an extension.
- is absent for any reason (other than recreation leave) for a period of 14 days or more from the place of study, except with prior approval of the Faculty.
- Students are required to assist as a student ambassador at two or more University events.
Students are required to pay for their medical insurance through the Allianz OSHC scheme. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a compulsory requirement of your student visa.
