PwC offers a job opportunity within the Service Delivery Center (SDC) in Taxes in Amman, Jordan for 2020. The Service Delivery Center will play a key role in supporting PwC’s Middle East network in the areas of tax, including but not exclusive to VAT, Corporate \ Tax, and translation services for offices across the GCC and Middle East. This is a great opportunity to join a young and professional team, delivering quality tax services and support to PwC’s internal client facing teams across the region. A career within the Tax Service Delivery Center will allow you to acquire regional tax compliance knowledge and expertise in fast evolving markets, specifically KSA, Kuwait and Qatar

Responsibilities:

As PwC continues investing in the region and developing local talent, as an Associate within the Service Delivery Center your responsibilities will include:

  1. Relevant regional tax and compliance legislation knowledge.
  2. Translation of tax documents.
  3. Interaction and clear communication between you and the client facing teams.
  4. Prepare, compile and enter data.
  5. Verify data and correct data where necessary.
  6. Obtain further information of incomplete documents.
  7. Update data.
  8. Transcribe information into required electronic formats.
  9. Review completed work for accuracy.
  10. Store completed documents in designated locations.
  11. Maintain log books or records of activities and tasks.
  12. Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
  13. Participate in all training programs.
  14. Utilization of systems.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in accounting, finance or any other related field.
  2. Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office-Excel.
  3. Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
  4. Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  5. Ability to translate documents into Arabic.
  6. Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
  7. Able to cope under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment, in particular during seasonal peaks where there are regulatory deadlines.
  8. Desire to learn and add value.
  9. Ability to build collaborative working relationships, establishing credibility.
  10. Bilingual (English and Arabic).
  11. Travel Requirements: Up to 20%.
  12. Available for Work Visa Sponsorship.
  13. Government Clearance Required.
