The United Nations ,in cooperation with the Paajaf Foundation, is offering an online volunteer opportunity in Sport curriculum writing. Only one volunteer is needed for this opportunity and he/she will be required to work for 6-10 hours per week for 8 weeks. You will be awarded the certificate of appreciation on successful collaboration.

Task:-

  • PAAJAF Foundation is looking for a committed, result oriented and skilled volunteer who could help to set up the sport/gym curriculum for the students in the age group of: 
    • From 2 to 7 years of age (team games and exercises) 
    • From 7 to 10 years of age 
    • From 10 to 14 years of age. 
  • PAAJAF is with an ambition to provide physical education to the students that is mandatory for their healthy growth. 
  • Your task is to analyze the local Ghanaian specifications and adjust the plan accordingly. 
  • You will implement the curriculum in cooperation with other NGOs or organizations. 
  • You will be awarded the certificate of appreciation on successful collaboration.

Objectives:-

  • PAAJAF want to help end poverty and illiteracy in community across Ghana by providing programs that will contribute to better life opportunities for our children, adult and community. 
  • To help achieve this goal, the foundation needs collaborative effort from global volunteers in terms of researching, writing and funding from donors. Here comes the need to support PAAJAF to realize the UN’s dreams in diversity education through Sport curriculum writing.

Requirements:-

  • Research and gather information on the latest critical topics, guidelines, legislation and best practices recommended at international level by institutional bodies and relevant organizations in the area.
  • Maintain a set of case studies of organizations similar to PAAJAF, that have implemented similar projects.
  • Create a document with the findings of the research including introduction, background legislation and international standards, case-studies, best practices and long-term impact.
