Artists at Risk offers art practitioners at risk of grievous suppression of freedom of expression, persecution or politically motivated threats to their basic freedoms the chance to apply for AR-Safe Haven Residencies to enable them to take a “breather” from their home country, or to use the programme as a “stepping stone” to re-orient their professional lives. The program usually includes an apartment or studio, a monthly living grant, travel, visa and insurance costs and a limited budget for production and legal costs.
Please note: Each residency offers different conditions

[2] Describe the attack/threats
[3] Describe what you believe is the motivation of your attackers and why you believe this
[4] Your plans and expectations for your stay
