UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as it is looking for 9 volunteers to work with online learning Management System (LMS) of ASASS. This system and App was installed to increase access to career learning and academic preparation using at-home learning technology.

We sign Agreement and give you credentials to access into our Online Learning Management system and app. You become responsible of LMS and Apps as you ensure security of System, all users and institute data. You work on vulnerability assessments, threat detection & prevention, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Network Security, Catch unauthorized login attempts to restricted computers and detect an unusual midnight log-in, Identify when a new user profile or an application is added to a restricted computer. Help us to be alerted to unauthorized wireless connections to the network.

LMS of ASASS nonprofits was installed by online Volunteers to offer skills to any person especially young adults, refugees regardless where they are located. The LMS and Apps help also to perform administration and management duties in the easiest and secured way. Objectives with our LMS is to give to any learner opportunity to explore a course and complete evaluation , get certificate.

Volunteer duration and working hours:

1-5 hours per week for overall twelve weeks.

Eligibility criteria:

Experience ( Minimum 10+ years).
Specialist in security , data security.
Able to maintain and achieve tasks.
Analysis Technologies, data and risk preventing,
Capacity to advise any event or problem detected.
Ability to communicate in English and French.

Volunteer duties:

help protect our emails, websites and the LMS against network breaches, hackers and human error.
keep our LMS, websites and app in good health on behalf of all users and our academy.
Identifies unsafe configurations and exploitable security vulnerabilities within your cloud infrastructure.
WEB PENETRATION Scan :Identifies unsafe development practices and exploitable vulnerabilities in our web applications, websites, API's, etc. Java, PHP • .NET • Angular • React • Vue • Python • Ruby • WordPress • Joomla • REST • JSON • Ajax • etc.
You will do installations.
