Ernst & Young is offering a job opportunity as an Insurance and Actuarial Services Junior Consultant to join the team in Athens, Greece for 2020.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Actuarial team, you will make a significant technical contribution to Insurance & Actuarial client engagements and internal projects. You will actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements. In particular:

Working on client assignments from day one with a supportive and highly competent team. Assignments in either Insurance (Non-Life, Life insurance, Health or pension businesses) and Financial sector industry covering traditional actuarial activities like reserving, pricing, modelling, financial reporting (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17) or audit as well as broader topics like mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and de-risking, new legislations, big data / analytics, risk and capital management.
Provide expert, timely, efficient and professional delivery of service to clients.
Prepare reports that will be delivered to stakeholders engaged on each project.
Work effectively as a team member, taking ownership of tasks and provide efficient support to management team.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and knowledge, providing support, maintaining communication and update other senior team members on progress.
Be internationally mobile and challenge yourself in an international context through various client assignments.

Qualifications:

0-2 years of professional experience.
Master or
PhD in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics or another related field.
Well progressed with Actuarial Qualification exams will be considered an asset.
Advanced MS office user.
Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
Strong team player with a passion for excellence and commitment to delivering work on time and with a flexible working style enjoying working with multi-national teams.
A high degree of self–direction and the business acumen to work within a rapidly changing environment.
Self-starter, eager to learn and to take on responsibility.
Excellent command of English, fluency in any other European language, in particular German, French or Arab, is a significant plus.
Solvency II and IFRS knowledge will be considered an asset.
Actuarial Modeling tool skills (AFM,Prophet, Moses, ResQ, Igloo, Remetrica etc.) will be considered an asset.
