Aramex offers a job opportunity in Saudi to work as a national health and safety manager to ensure having a safe and secure work environment aligned with international safety and security standards, legal and best practices as per local and international requirements.

Eligibility:

You must have:

Saudi nationality.
Bachelor’s degree or higher with health and safety qualification (NEBOSH IGC minimum).
7+ years’ experience in related field.
Experience in security administration with strong knowledge of security management.
Excellent leadership and people skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

Ensure handling all critical incidents that might have impact on company brand and reputation.
Ensure having a secure and safe work environment.
Enhance the safety culture in the organization.
Set country HSSE strategy and KPI’s for stations HSSE teams.
Report incidents and audit results to country manager and stations managers.
Contribute to tenders by reporting all data related to country HSSE.
Review, support and participate in external audits and when required.
Develop employee HSSE awareness.
Train, develop and mentor HSSE team.
Approve any HSSE training conducted in country.
Determine access requirements to information within the team to guarantee privacy and confidentiality based on sensitivity, classification, legal requirements and company polices
develop and maintain the team response and recovery plans during disruptive incidents, using the tools and templates provided by the local business continuity coordinator.
Ensure updating team job roles and creating new one for any new roles.
Ensure passing all internal HSE, Zero tolerance, security, ISO 45001, TAPA and CGI audits.
Ensure passing all external customer audits.
Ensure compliance with ARAMEX and local safety and security requirements and legislation.
Ensure fleet (GPS) compliance and monitoring in place.
Develop and review HSSE policies and procedures.
Work closely with contractors to ensure they comply with ARAMEX HSE standards.
Conduct safety and security risk assessments to detect potential hazards and reduce risk.
Ensure all incidents are reported to corporate office.
Liaise with government officials pertaining to investigations.
Set station HSSE budgets annually and verify with station managers and country manager.
Reduce number of accidents and incidents.
Reduce number of claims and legal implications for safety and security.
Take all necessary measures when possible to reduce cost without compromising quality and standards.
