Rice University Department of Statistics calls application for Postdoctoral Fellowship.

The department is dedicated to the advancement of the scientific discipline of statistics, the innovative application of statistics to meet modern scientific, engineering, and societal challenges, the expert education of students in statistics and other disciplines, and statistical leadership in the local, national, and international communities.

Position Summary

This intern will fill one full-time, 12-month postdoctoral fellow position (with a maximum of two annual renewals given continued service) at the Department of Statistics in the School of Engineering, Rice University. Research work will be a focus on methodology and applications in environmental statistics and statistical epidemiology. The proposed starting date is August 1, 2020. The postdoctoral fellows will be mentored by faculty members, Kathy Ensor and Dan Kowal at Rice University and Marie Lynn Miranda of Notre Dame University.
