Applications are now opened for the Global Peace Summit in Turkey 2020 (GPST). The programme aims to provide to young, competent and enthusiastic peace builders, the opportunity to sharpen their skills of peace education, facilitate the exchange of ideas and project sharing, and new network to form with like-minded individuals and world leaders.

The summit will bring participants from all corners of the world to develop ideas to achieve sustainable development goals and advocate for peace in their communities to counter extreme violence, hate, and every kind of discrimination.

Programme Details

Event: Global Peace Summit (Reshaping Youth Response to UNSDGs).
Summit Topics: Peace education, Global citizenship, Empowering the Post COVID-19 Generation, Youth Leaders for Social Transformation, Youth Engagement in Politics, Disabling Inequalities.
Number of awards: 200 seats (20 fully-funded, 50 partially funded, and 130 self-funded seats).
Date: 15 – 18 October, 2020.
Venue: Turkey.
Eligible countries: Open to all nationalities.

Global Peace Summit in Turkey Eligibility

To be eligible to receive for the Peace Summit, applicants must be:

Youth between 16-35 of age;
Open-minded, highly motivated and passionate;
Students, young professionals are encouraged to apply;
Dedicated to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
