WHO offers a job opportunity in Switzerland to work as a health systems adviser. Health Systems Governance and Financing (HGF) supports countries to develop health financing and governance policies, strategies and data that will lead to universal health coverage. It develops the methods, tools, and standards required to collect, evaluate and introduce into the policy debate appropriate evidence, builds capacity and provides technical support.

Eligibility:

You must have:

An advanced level university degree in health management, international relations, law, public health or related field relevant to the position.
Minimum of seven years' combined experience in health financing, health policy and experience in organizational tool developments and management of networks and demonstrated experience at the international level.
Strong technical skills in health policy, financing and system organization as well as knowledge and skills in in the co-ordination of global health networks at the bi/multilateral stakeholders as well as offering leading-edge technical expertise.
Demonstrated ability to create added-value through innovative product development to support countries and decision makers in the health sector growing collaborations and performance.
Teamwork skills and respecting and promoting individual and cultural differences.
Communication skills and producing results.
Promoting innovation and organizational learning.
Expert knowledge of English.
It's preferred to have expert knowledge of French.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

Contributes to the co-ordination and facilitation of the decide Hub through product development, activity planning and implementation, network growth and knowledge co-production, country support.
Co-ordinates the networks' administration group and the digitization of Global Health Networks (8+) using the P4H Web platform.
Develops and implements products such as the decider tool, the Turnkey network tool or the political economy gauge to support health stewards progressing towards UHC.
Provides leadership related to the co-ordination and facilitation of working groups on capital investment in health.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Benefits:

WHO salaries for staff in the professional category are calculated in US dollars. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 73,516 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to 4791 USD per month for the duty station indicated above. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.
