Job Title: Postdoctoral Associate
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist in the assessment of markets and consumer preferences for warm water marine finfish in the U.S. Southern tier states. Similarly, specific tasks will include assessing and summarizing the current supply of wild capture, domestic aquaculture, and international trade for 18 species of warm water marine finfish. Additionally, assessing consumer preferences for warm water marine finish species, through an online survey.
Doctoral degree in agricultural or applied economics awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year of eligibility remaining. Additionally, demonstrated experience with data collection through surveys. Knowledge or experience with consumer preference studies. Furthermore, the incumbent must already be able to work legally in the US (project timeline mandates immediate start).
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and research experience in fisheries or aquaculture. Likewise, demonstrated experience with data collection through web-based surveys (Qualtrics, or similar). Furthermore, demonstrated knowledge or experience of seafood supply chains.
