Amaris offers a job opportunity in Switzerland to work as a system engineer. Amaris team from Switzerland is extending it’s activities that’s why the company looking for talents with expertise as system engineer or architect in order to join the team.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as system engineer in one of the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Air Defense, Railway.
  • Knowledge with the requirements management and design tools: POLARION, IBM Rational DOORS, Enterprise Architect.
  • Knowledge in Matlab, UML, SysML, Simulink, Visual Basic and Model-based design.
  • Fluent in speaking and written skills in English and one of the following languages: Italian/ German.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing, and maintenance.
  2. Implement and maintain backups, security, and redundancy strategies.
  3. Plan various engineering design aspects of (sub)systems projects to support safety and efficiency of operations and maintenance activities. Interpretation of reviews and approval of design submittals, including drawings, descriptions and schematics.
  4. Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions.
  5. Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics.
  6. Engage with upper management regularly with reports on project status, activities, and achievements.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to accomplish.
  8. Standardize and automate processes and monitoring using scripting technology.
  9. Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
  10. Routinely test software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues.
  11. Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures.
  12. Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions; oversee the overall backup strategy and daily operations for secure backups and restore testing.
