MRI Worldwide is looking for a talented Program Director to join the team and work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 2020. Reporting to the Head of Group Strategy Delivery, you will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of the defined strategic programs. The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization. Your mission is to drive the Bank Strategy delivery with excellency, provide leadership and vision, and cultivate and steward strong relationships’ network vital to achieve overall programmatic goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Translate strategic plan into operational program action plans and provide leadership for the development, implementation, management and evaluation of programs and initiatives.
  2. Direct, develop, implement, disseminate and administer strategic programs and objectives to ensure achievement as prescribed by leadership.
  3. Provide sharp update on performance and advise how best to achieve performance goals and results.
  4. Schedule, coordinate and lead the recurring meetings and committees required to monitor program execution.
  5. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules.
  6. Perform evaluations, monitor performance and suggest improvements.
  7. Develop and analyse monitoring and evaluation data and track key performance indicators as a basis for measuring performance.
  8. Keep abreast with change, risk and resource management principles.
  9. Ensure that program operations and activities are consistent legal guidelines and internal policies.
  10. Create reports and presentations for top management.

Qualifications:

  1. You will be a natural born leader with the ability to inspire and tell stories to gain buy-in across all levels of the organization. Ideally, you will have been in a similar role for the last 3-5 years, or have demonstrated senior leadership and change delivery in a different role.
  2. You have a proven experience as program director or other managerial position, with a clear track record of delivering strategic initiatives.
  3. Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods are merely a hygiene factor for you – it’s just what you do, all with a meticulous attention to detail.
  4. Leading by example will come natural to you. Your experience in empowering a team to execute under pressure and tight deadlines is evident.
  5. Exceptional leadership skills, gravitas, high energy and motivational drive will be words that others will have used to describe you. Visibility across the Bank is core to the success of this role.
  6. You are a business acumen with a strategic ability and an analytical mind-set with great problem-solving abilities.
  7. Whilst speaking Arabic will take you places here, fluency in English is a must. Your communication skills are excellent.
  8. High levels of personal and professional integrity.
  9. An entrepreneurial approach with an ability to operate both at a strategic level and to be hands on.
  10. A positive, self-sufficient leader with excellent communication skills, intellect and energy.
  11. Very sound judgment and business instinct with a desire to challenge traditional thinking.
  12. Ability to admit when you are wrong and learn from it – ready to share news, no matter how bad you think it is.
  13. Ability to encourage followership, motivate and develop a diverse group of people towards a challenging goal.
