The Women for Africa Foundation is launching its 5th Edition of science by women program, with the aim to promote African women’s leadership in scientific research and technology transfer and to foster the capacity of the research centers in their home countries. The main goal is to provide fellowships for African women researchers and scientists to tackle the great challenges faced by Africa through research in health, agriculture and food security, water, energy, and climate change, as well as mathematics and economic science.
Applications will be subjected to a highly competitive selection process by the Women for Africa Foundation’s Scientific Committee. The jury will evaluate the following criteria:
Women for Africa is a non-profit organization established as an international reference entity dedicated to the sustainable economic and social development, human rights, peace, justice, and dignity of women, especially women and girls from the African continent. The Foundation seeks to give continuity to the work of the "Women for a Better World" meetings and to unify social models that honor women's lives and allow the sustainable development of the African continent.
