Essex University in the UK is offering Academic Excellence International Masters Scholarship for students who have bachelor degree from Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. These scholarships are restricted to students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded. They are not available to students who are fully or partly sponsored.
  2. These scholarships may be awarded to students who have completed relevant school or university studies in one of the specified countries, and in the case of the UK, who are nationals of one of the other specified countries.
  3. Graduates of the University of Essex are not eligible for this award.
  4. Students of any nationality are eligible for the award if they have completed their first degree in one of the specified countries, apart from the UK, and achieved the required grade.
  5. Students must have been awarded a first degree with the grade specified or above. A higher Masters grade cannot be taken to compensate for a lower Bachelors grade.
  6. Eligible courses are those which are full-time taught Masters courses leading to MA, MSc, LLM and MRes degrees, Students undertaking the MBA aren't eligibile.
  7. Only one scholarship award can be made per student and the award cannot normally be held in conjunction with other University of Essex awards (including the Alumni Discount). This scholarship is available for the first year of Masters study only.
  8. for 2020-21 entry: be applying for a full-time Masters course starting in October 2020 or January 2021 (excluding MBA).
  9. for 2021-22 entry: be applying for a full-time Masters course starting in October 2021.
  10. Applicants who have firmly accepted an offer of a place by 18 September 2020 and met the academic conditions of entry, will be considered for these scholarships. Applications submitted after that date may be considered depending on availability of funds.
  11. Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.

Funding:

Up to £5,000, paid as a discount on your tuition fee, and for eligible students with a UK degree, the amount of the award will be set at £2,000.
