Novartis is named one of Forbes’s Most Admired Pharmaceutical Companies of 2020. Novartis is a global healthcare company who aims to deliver our therapies to as many people as possible. This scholarship was made with the aim to support young social entrepreneurs and their local/global initiatives to help accelerate their leadership journey.
All applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30. Applicants must demonstrate positive impact in the healthcare sector in some capacity. Applicants will be evaluated and judged on their their understanding of global issues along with the ability to address important issues in their own work and globally, their commitment to deliver positive change, have demonstrated a capacity for leadership and an ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo. They will also be evaluated on their creativeness, collaboration ability and enthusiasm. Novartis employees are not eligible for this program.
The 10 selected scholars will be invited to attend the One Young World Summit 2021 that will take place from 23 April to 26 April. All accommodation, transport costs and meals will be provided and organized by Novartis. Participants will also be pitch and share their initiatives within the Novartis organization and will be invited to attend the meeting or lunch with the OYW Novartis delegation. All scholars will take part in the mentorship program with Novartis.
