Photocrowd is launching a photo contest on the theme of "Bricks", as each and everyone interested in creative photography is invited to take part in this contest.

Brickwork, as a subject, is well worth photographing. Not only can it make interesting images on its own, but it’s also really good for blending with other photos to add interest to plain background, or lend a particular look or feel through Photoshop. The textures and details in brickwork can provide just as much interest as the building as a whole. So get out there and get creative.

How it works:

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.

Prizes:

The crowd's favourite will win a year-long Photocrowd Challenger subscription, worth £30. Our plans give you more ways to enjoy Photocrowd, including more entries into contests and reduced entry fees into a range of top photo awards.

If you're already on a subscription, you will earn valuable leaderboard points and badge awards.
