Siemens is offering an internship opportunity in Poole, United Kingdom under the title of "Finance Assistant Intern".

Internship duration:

This internship will be on a full-time basis for 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme.

Eligibility criteria:

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

  1. Studying towards a 2:2 or above in a finance based degree.
  2. You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
  3. You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
  4. You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Internship duties:

We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in finance.

  • Work within the central Finance and Performance Reporting Function 
  • You will get involvement in the financial processes here at Siemens
  • Work on our monthly reporting process, cost analysis, finance process review and improvement
  • Help investigations into presenting information and reconciliations 
  • Work within the finance as part of the team.
