Description

The Jan Metzger Scholarship for the MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems is kindly funded through a generous donation from Sussex alumnus, Jan Metzger.

The scholarship is open to all UK, EU and international candidates who have accepted a full-time offer of a place on the MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems commencing in September 2017.

The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee waiver in the first instance with any remainder being paid as a maintenance grant.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have accepted a full-time place on the MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems degree course by 31 July 2017;
  • Applicants must commence the degree in September 2017 (awards cannot be deferred to subsequent years);
  • Current Sussex undergraduate students are eligible to apply;
  • Holders of the Jan Metzger Scholarship can hold other University of Sussex awards alongside this award.

The selected candidate will receive approximately USD 7672.98 as tuition fee waiver/contribution to maintenance for one year.

How to apply?

No formal application for this scholarship is necessary.

The award will be made based on the information provided during the application for the MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems. All applicants who have accepted an offer of a place on the the MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems by 31 July 2017 will be automatically considered for the Scholarship and the successful applicant will be notified in September 2017.

Applicants must accept an offer of a place by 31 July 2017 to be considered for the scholarship.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to interact with the sponsor about their ideas, areas of interest and project focus.
