This scholarship provides assistance to domestic students enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program (including dual programs) as a Commonwealth supported student.
The scholarship will take the form of monetary assistance to help with living expenses for 12 months and will be paid in two instalments – one during semester 1 and one during semester 2.
The scholarship is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents. Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
Applicants should note that the total number of scholarships, and the duration and amount of each scholarship to be awarded will be determined on an annual basis by the TC Beirne School of Law Scholarship Endowment Fund Selection Committee.
Students must submit a proposed budget, complete an application form and declaration, and send these, with a copy of their curriculum vitae, to scholarships@law.uq.edu.au by close of business on the closing date.
The Committee will meet as soon as practicable after the closing date and applicants will be notified of the outcome in writing.
