Description

Khazar University with the support SPE Azerbaijan section is offering a full Ph.D. scholarship within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The scholarship is open to both local and international students.

Khazar University Azerbaijani, which directly translates as Caspian University is a private university located in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Eligibility

Good academic performance records of the previous education stage (high school, bachelor or master programs);
IT skills and fluency in programming languages such as Matlab, Pyton, and etc. are very welcomed. An applicant with aforementioned skills will have a competitive advantage;
Motivated to study at Khazar University with good scientific research and communication skills;
The scholarship is open to both local and international students.

Scholarship

Scholarship is available to pursue only PhD program;
Scholarship is awarded to the Petroleum Engineering department within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. If selected the applicant will also be offered a paid researcher position in a research team working on a fully funded industry scale research project, where he/she will be given an opportunity to work with real field data;
Full PhD scholarship is available.
