To be eligible for a scholarship, the student must have received and accepted the unconditional offer of admission into the program and achieved an overall GPA greater than 5 in their undergraduate program (students with a GPA under 5 are ineligible for consideration in the scholarship round).

How to apply
International applicants are required to complete the School of Biological Sciences International Scholarship in Conservation Biology application form. The deadline for this application is 28 April in the year of commencement.

Selection criteria
The eligible applicants will be ranked in order of merit based on academic performance and any other evidence that the Head of School considers to be relevant.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the student must have received and accepted the unconditional offer of admission into the program and achieved an overall GPA greater than 5 in their undergraduate program (students with a GPA under 5 are ineligible for consideration in the scholarship round).

Terms and conditions
The selection of the successful recipients is made by the Head of School in consultation with the Program Coordinator.
The value of the scholarship is set annually by the Head of School and may vary from year to year.
The scholarship is for the duration of the program (12 months) and will be paid in two instalments that will be used to reduce the student’s fee liability. If the student withdraws from the program before completion they may be required to repay the amount of the scholarship.

If a student defers their commencement date, the scholarship offer is no longer valid. The scholarship can't be transferred and is only valid in the year in which it is offered.
