Applications are invited for a Research Associate in Computational Chemistry within the Division of Pharmacy & Optometry at the University of Manchester. The post is available immediately and will be tenable on a fixed term basis for 36 months.

You will contribute to a Leverhulme Trust funded project focusing on developing a new computational approach to predicting molecular conformation, combining machine learning and molecular dynamics simulation. The method will be applied to pharmaceutically relevant problems.

You should hold a PhD or equivalent in computational chemistry. Experience in the development and implementation of new computational approaches is essential and use of machine learning methods is highly desirable. Experience in molecular simulation methods as well as a developing track record of publications, is also highly desirable.
