The University of Malta is pleased to offer a funded position for the students from Malta and outside Malta to pursue master degree program in Chemistry. This project financed by WizaR&D Ltd through the MarSA fund of the Malta Maritime Authority and the TAKEOFF Business Incubator.
The University of Malta is the highest teaching institution in Malta, it is publicly funded and is open to all those who have the requisite qualifications. Just over 11,000 students are currently pursuing studies at Foundation, Undergraduate, and Post-graduate level.
The Course shall be open to applicants in possession of one of the following qualifications:
(a) The degree of Bachelor of Science with at least Second Class Honours in an area of study deemed by the Board to be relevant to the proposed area of study and obtained in the 10 years previous to registration for the Course;
(b) The Bachelor of Science with Third Class Honours in an area of study deemed by the Board to be relevant to the proposed area of study and obtained in the 10 years previous to registration for the Course, provided that the applicants have obtained other qualifications, including relevant experience, following their first cycle degree. The Board may, at its discretion, require such applicants to follow a preparatory program as specified in bye-law 5.
The scholarship is for an initial period of one year and carries a stipend of EUR 7,000 per annum with an additional EUR 3,000 per annum for bench fees.
