This scholarship provides assistance to a domestic student enrolled or enrolling full-time in either the Master of Laws (LLM) program or a Higher Degree by Research. The scholarship will take the form of monetary assistance to help with living expenses for 12 months.
The Scholarship is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents. Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
To be eligible, HDR applicants must be researching in one of the following areas, being areas which were of particular interest to the late Justice Richard Cooper:
An interview may be required during the selection process.
