For our Institute of Communications and Navigation in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, we are currently looking for a

Your mission:

In-flight guidance safety and security are deeply connected. The aeronautical group of the Institute of Communications and Navigation develops next generation communication systems for air traffic management. These communication systems will make air transportation cleaner, safer, and more secure.

As a computer scientist in the aeronautical communication group of the department of Communications Systems you focus on the design and evaluation of cyber secure wireless communication systems for air traffic management on layer 2 and above.

We expect and highly encourage that you utilize your research work at DLR to pursue earning a PhD degree.
