- Elaborate nanofibrous composite materials by the electrospinning technique.
- Characterize the structure (SEM, 3D microtomography), the composition (confocal Raman microscopy) and the mechanical properties (tensile and shear tests) of the elaborated materials.
- Carry out 3D microtomography tests with in situ mechanical characterization.
- Study and analyze the micro-nanostructure/mechanical relationships.
The work will be carried out within the framework of the RootRaCE project funded by ANR in which physico-chemists, biologists and mechanics work in close collaboration. The candidate will therefore be required to interact with the people involved in the RootRaCE project.

The mission is to develop nanofibrous composite materials for biomedical applications and to study their structure-mechanical properties.

The work will be carried out on the sites of the Institute of Chemistry, Environment and Health (ICPEES UMR7515) and the Institute Charles Sadron (ICS UPR22). The laboratories are located in neighboring buildings in Strasbourg. Sessions (2 to 4 weeks spread over the duration of the postdoc) of characterization by high-resolution 3D microtomography are planned on the MICASOL platform at the French National Synchrotron Radiation Facility
SOLEIL.
