For the 2022 intake, INSEAD seeks 16-18 doctoral candidates in Management, specialising in Accounting, Decision Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Strategy, and Technology and Operations Management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
We are looking for bright potentials keen to pursue an exciting career in business academia as management professors in leading business schools worldwide. PhD prospects are full of curiosity about the world around them and constantly challenging the frontiers of management research to create new knowledge in the eight fields of specialisation that we offer. Our standards are high but extremely broad. Successful applicants come from various backgrounds – nationalities, subject area, and level and type of research and professional experience. But what they have in common is their desire to pursue a lifelong academic career as management professors in top business schools globally.
We welcome applications coming from both management and non-management qualifications, either directly from undergraduate or masters degrees. Although research experience is not required, if a candidate has it, they are encouraged to state it in their application. Research experience can be in the form of dissertation work in their bachelor's or masters degrees, teaching or research assistantship or industry work such as a junior consultant in a consulting firm or a data analyst, to name a few.
Therefore, if you have a solid academic record, any level of research exposure, strong faculty recommendations, the desire to pursue unparalleled research, and a clear motivation to become a scholar in the field of business, you are poised to apply to the INSEAD PhD in Management.
Start of intake: mid-August 2022 (for pre-course work preparation)
Location of studies: Fontainebleau, France and Singapore
Study form: Full-time
Duration: 5 years (2 years of course work, followed by 3 years of dissertation)
Funding: Full funding for the first 5 years of studies given to ALL admitted students; includes tuition fee waiver, annual stipend, research and conference budget support, and health insurance coverage (https://inse.ad/phd-financing)
Campus exchange: Compulsory between Fontainebleau, France and Singapore; an option for campus exchange with The Wharton School in the US, through the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance Exchange Programme
