Description

This bursary was established by a bequest of $3,000 by William Downing who died on 25 November 1958. The purpose of the Bursary is to support high-achieving students in the third year of the Bachelor of Agricultural Science program.

Eligibility

A student is eligible for the Bursary if, in the year of the award, the student is enrolled full-time in the third year of the Bachelor of Agricultural Science program.

Selection criteria

The Bursary is awarded to the student who shows the greatest merit determined by:

academic achievement in the Approved Program to date; and
other evidence considered relevant by the Associate Dean (Academic) to the future success of the student in agriculture, agronomy, or related industries.
