Interested candidates are invited to apply for the Mahapola Scholarships at the Open University of Sri Lanka for the academic year 2021-2022.

The program is designed to support ambitious aspirants who are going to pursue a bachelor’s degree programme at the university.

The Open University of Sri Lanka is a national university in Sri Lanka. It offers certificates, diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate degrees up to PhD level through the Open and Distance Mode of Learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Sri Lanka
Eligible Course or Subjects: The support will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
Applicants must have Level 04 and an Average GPA of 2.0 or more

The Open University of Sri Lanka will provide the amount of a minimum of Rs 8000 for students.

Application Process

How to Apply: To being enlisted in the programme, aspirants must have to enroll in the undergraduate degree programme at the university.
Supporting Documents: Students must have to submit the academic transcripts of all the previous school attended and copy of national ID card.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a high-school degree.
Language Requirement: Aspirants must be proficient in written and spoken the English and local language.
