Description

The purpose of the Scholarship is to support high-achieving students undertaking the first year of study in an undergraduate agricultural science-related program.

Eligibility

An applicant is eligible for the award of a Scholarship if the applicant:

  • is a domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy;
  • is enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) or associated dual programs. 
  • applies for the Scholarship by the closing date for applications in the year of the award.

Please complete and submit the Renatus Ebersohn Scholarship online application form by 27th August 2021 at 11.59 PM AEST. Please ensure you've read the prompts in the application form and attach all relevant supporting documents before submitting your application. No late or incomplete scholarship applications will be considered.

All submissions will be kept confidential and only used for the purposes of assessing the scholarship. 

Selection criteria

The Scholarship will be awarded to the applicant, who in the opinion of the Associate Dean (Academic), shows the greatest merit as demonstrated by:

  • academic achievement during secondary school studies or any previous or current tertiary studies;
  • an interest in pursuing studies in crop agronomy, pasture agronomy, or soil conservation;
  • personal qualities, including leadership potential; and
  • any other evidence that may be considered relevant by the Associate Dean (Academic) to the future success of the student in agriculture, agronomy, or other related industries.

Scholarship value : at least $4,500
