The Summer and Winter Research Programs are coordinated by Student Enrichment and Employability Development in conjunction with UQ research units and provide an opportunity for motivated UQ students to participate in an educational research experience.
During the program, students will team up with some of the University's leading academics and researchers to engage in research-related activities for a selected project. In doing so, students have the opportunity to further develop and apply their degree-specific knowledge whilst developing valuable research and professional capabilities.
The Summer Research Program is offered during the Summer vacation period (November to February) and offers projects between 6 - 10 weeks in length. Successful applicants will be required to participate between 20 and 36 hours per week for the duration of the research project.
To be eligible to participate and receive a scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria:
