International Conference “New Perspectives in Science Education”

The 7th edition of the New Perspectives in Science Education International Conference will take place in Florence, Italy, on 22 – 23 March 2018.

 

Objective

 

The objective of the New Perspectives in Science Education Conference is to promote transnational cooperation and share good practice in the field of science education. The New Perspectives in Science Education conference is also an excellent opportunity for the presentation of previous and current education projects and initiatives. The Call for Papers is addressed to teachers, researchers and experts in the field of science education as well as to coordinators of teaching and training projects.

Experts in the field of education are therefore invited to submit an abstract of a paper to be presented in the conference.

Dates

  • 22 November 2017: Deadline for submitting abstracts

  • 22 January 2018: Deadline for final submission of papers

  • 22 – 23 March 2018: Dates of the conference

Scientific Committee

The members of the Scientific Committee belong to Higher Education Institutions from all over the world. They are international experts and academics in the field of science education and assess all the abstracts and papers submitted by the conference participants.

Presentation Typologies

 

There will be three presentation typologies:

  • Oral: each presentation will last for 25 minutes (20 minutes for the presentation + 5 minutes for a questions and answers session)

  • Poster: participants will be able to display their posters (materials will be provided by organizers). Authors will be able to make face to face presentations during the poster sessions.

  • Virtual: virtual presentations are power point presentations (with audio) or videos uploaded on the conference web site. The presentation will therefore be accessible for all participants during and after the conference.

Conference Proceedings

All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings published by LibreriaUniversitaria with ISBN and ISSN (2420-9732) codes. This publication will be sent to be reviewed for inclusion in SCOPUS. Papers will also be included in ACADEMIA.EDU and Google Books.
