Posting Summary	The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking multiple post-doctoral associates to join the laboratory of Dr Jun Wang within the Department of Medicinal Chemistry on or about January 1, 2022. The successful candidates will participate in NIH-funded projects in antiviral research.

Minimum Education and Experience	A Ph.D., MD or DVM in a field appropriate to the research area is required. Knowledge of molecular cloning, protein expression, imaging, structural biology, immunology, virology and mouse models is preferred but not required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Candidates must be able to: Design and develop biochemical and cell-based assays for various drug targets. Perform high-throughput screening and structure-based drug design. Study the mechanism of action and mechanism of resistance of antivirals. Creatively develop, plan, execute and publish research relevant to the project. Participate fully as a lab team member. Assist graduate and undergraduate students in research activities. Assist in preparation of grants, manuscripts and conference presentations
