The University of Birmingham is very excited to receive applications from high-achieving international students for the Undergraduate Outstanding Achievement Scholarships in the UK. Applications for the academic year 2022-2023 are now open.

Allotted on the basis of excellent academic achievement, students’ personal statements, and excellent attendance at school or college, this application of £2,500 will be given to 2 international students towards their undergraduate studies at the University of Birmingham.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: EU and Non-EU country students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for an undergraduate study in Arts and Law, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Life and Environmental Sciences, Medical and Dental Sciences, Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have an excellent academic background.

Offered Benefits

The University of Birmingham will provide the 2 selected students £2,500 each towards the cost of the undergraduate programme cost.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants can apply for the course of their choice either via UCAS or the online application portal of the university. The applicants will be shortlisted and considered depending upon the eligibility criteria.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to submit personal statements, language ability proof, and previous transcripts or certificates.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants are required to have a high school certificate with a good academic score.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • TOEFL – 88
  • PTE – 51
  • CAEL –169
  • Duolingo – 109
