Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Australia
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD degree in Beyond segments
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Strong experimental (e.g., programming) and data analysis skills.
  • Substantial experiences with Eye-trackers are desirable
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to conduct independent research.

Offered Benefits

Macquarie University will provide tuition fee offset and a living allowance stipend. The value and tenure of the scholarship is an “MQRES” full-time stipend rate of $28,854 per annum.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students are required to make their admission to complete the Online HDR Candidature and Scholarship Application via the  university portal at Macquarie University.
  • Supporting Documents: Students must have the CV and a short letter of motivation and arrange for two academic referee reports to be submitted to the Higher Degree Research Office.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have MA/MSc degree in Psychology (Cognitive Science), Linguistics (esp. in Phonetics), Neuroscience, or other Science-related fields.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must have excellent communication skills in English.
