In collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the University of Hohenheim has announced its DAAD EPOS Scholarships for international students in Germany for the academic year 2022-2023.

All international students are eligible to apply for this scholarship award. The students must have undertaken the MSc in Agricultural Economics programme offered at the University of Hohenheim to be eligible to participate. The award consists of tuition fees and other benefits such as health insurance, a monthly stipend, and travel costs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international students can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: MSc Agricultural Economics programme offered at the University of Hohenheim can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience post-bachelors before applying.

Offered Benefits

The applicants that will win this scholarship at the University of Hohenheim will have their tuition fees waived for the two years of the Agricultural Economics Master’s program, and they will receive health insurance, a monthly living stipend, and travel costs to Germany and back as well as for research.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Admission applications must be made via the online application portal of the university. Students must submit the supporting documents with the DAAD Scholarship Application form via mail at to apply for the scholarship.

  • Diploma and transcript of records
  • University entrance qualification
  • Ranking letter
  • APS certificate
  • Admission Requirements: The students applying must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with above-average results.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • TOEFL IBT – 90
