Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Non-local, non-mainland, and mainland students can apply.
Eligible Course or Subjects: Applicants can take a bachelor programme at the School of Communication and Film of HKBU.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
The applicants must have GCE, 3ALs, BBB or above, exclude Chi, Eng
IB: total score of 33 or above (include bonus score)
SAT 1200 or above
For outstanding mainland students who have GCE: 3ALs/ IALs, AAA or above, exclude Chi, Eng
IB: total score of 37 or above (include bonus score)
SAT 1430 or above

Offered Benefits

The selected applicants will be presented a sum of HK$20,000 – HK$60,000 towards an eligible bachelor’s programme at HKBU.

Non-Mainland students from overseas will receive $60,000 awards for each programme and the requirement of each HK$40,000 /$20,000 award.
Outstanding Mainland students who sit for GCE, IB, SAT exams and meet University full scholarship threshold of HK$60,000 awards for each programme.

Application Process

How to Apply: Students are required to apply through the online application system of the university. Eligible students will automatically be considered.
Supporting Documents: The students must submit academic transcripts and other necessary documents.
Admission Requirements: For taking admission, students must have to check the entry requirements of an undergraduate degree at the university.
Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
TOEFL IBT – 79
IELTS – 6.0
C1/C2 – Grade C
