Institution: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Purpose: To aid ASME student members who are enrolled in an undergraduate mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or related degree program.
Eligibility: Applicants must be current ASME student members who are currently enrolled in (or have been accepted into) an ABET-accredited (or similarly accredited) undergraduate degree program in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or a subject related to one of these. They must be rising or current sophomores, juniors or seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement and professional potential in engineering.

How to Apply: Applications are available online through an electronic application system. Current ASME membership, submittal of application through the online system, a transcript and recommendation letters are required.
