Institution: American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME)
Purpose: To aid mining engineering students.
Eligibility: Applicants must be rising undergraduate juniors or seniors who are enrolled in an ABET-accredited mining engineering degree program on a full-time basis. They must be student members of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). They must have plans to pursue a career in the mining industry and must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
