Institution: Silicon Valley Community Foundation
Purpose: To assist California students who are "late bloomers."
Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, be high school seniors in San Mateo County or northern Santa Clara County (Daly City through Mountain View) and have a maximum GPA of 3.3. Students must demonstrate financial need; evidence of partial self-support such as savings from summer jobs, part-time work, etc.; community service and academic promise and GPA improvement during high school years.
