Eligibility:
Applicants must be currently enrolled HDR candidates in any field of study at UQ, in either a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil). (Part-time or Full-Time candidates may apply)
The applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
The applicants must be using the proceeds of the scholarship to study SMI’s short courses and/or attend extractive industry (broadly defined) related conferences – either internationally or in Australia. (see About This Scholarship for details)
They must also be interested in sharing their experiences with SMI, to be negotiated.
Selection criteria:
The impact the chosen activities will have on the HDR candidate’s future career and the ways in which the scholarship will enhance and enrich the recipients educational experience.
