Eligibility:

You are eligible for this scholarship if you:

  • are a domestic student
  • identify as a woman
  • are planning to undertake a STEM degree or Master of Business Administration at an Australian University.

Selection criteria:

The scholarships are available to those who plan to commence study in 2023.

The Elevate program is open to all women in STEM. ATSE particularly encourages applications from individuals who:

  • identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • identify as LGBTQIA+
  • are individuals from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • are individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds
  • are individuals from regional or rural areas or those living with a disability. 

About this scholarship:

In addition to providing financial support, the program aims to address gender inequities in STEM through fostering more women-led industry-academia collaborations in applied research and business, growing professional skills of women in STEM and by propelling women into leadership.
