The scholarship is open to PhD candidates undertaking research in Pure Mathematics who are receiving a scholarship of no more than the RTP rate and no additional top-up funding.
Selection criteria:
Applicants will be ranked on the basis of:
potential for satisfactory scholastic success;
how the scholarship will be used in furthering the applicants research and professional development;
the potential for the proposed use of the scholarship to advance research in Mathematics
any other matters the selection committee sees fit.
